Student Rock Concert Rehearsal @ Hickory Music Factory
Feb 17 @ 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

Many of you are familiar with our upcoming annual HMF Student Concert, but for those of you that are new to this event, think of it as a rock concert/recital. This is an incredible opportunity for our students to perform a song that is appropriate to their lesson and playing level, on a huge stage with professional musicians. HMF invests in our students with this opportunity and many types of musical experiences, giving them the tools they need to grow and build a strong musical foundation.

Teachers and students will pick a song from our master song list that we feel is appropriate for each student. From now until the concert, we will monitor their progress and guide them as they learn, not just the skeleton of their song, but its construction and ultimately the finished product.

All students interested in participating in the concert should talk to their teacher. There will be a sign up list for rehearsal and concert times at your instructors teaching studio.

The fee for the Student Concerts is $35 for HMF student members, and $50 for non members. Payment should be made out to Hickory Music Factory if paying by check and should be paid the day of the rehearsal. We strongly encourage all participating students to become HMF members. There is an annual fee of $40 to become a HMF student member. Members will receive benefits on programs, discounts to music stores, performance opportunities and more. This money helps keep the HMF wheels turning for hundreds of kids throughout the community. If you would like to become a HMF student member or for any other questions, please contact our office and someone will assist you.
