Mission Statement
Building futures through music by teaching, performance and community outreach.
History
The Hickory Music Factory is a non-profit 501(c)(3) founded in 2012 by Tony Eltora and Rick Cline. The vision was to provide their students and the community with more opportunities to learn, create and experience music in an environment that fosters creativity and originality as well as to provide a musical experience for the individual that is void of all barriers, whether those be from learning differences, financial struggle, or physical ability.
What makes the Hickory Music Factory so special?
Hickory Music Factory is a performing arts school pursuing much of its growth through collaborations with local businesses, collaborations with other nonprofits and like-minded individuals in the Greater Hickory area.
With over 300 registered families, students of ALL ages develop their musical skills through private instruction, ensembles, regular classes and the monthly performance opportunities we provide throughout the year.
Talented and dedicated team of instructors that maintains a school-wide philosophy that group music making and regular performance are core elements of effective musical development.
With support from the City of Hickory, Arts Culture Catawba, local businesses and private donors, we are committed to providing the Hickory community with affordable lessons and programs.
