What is the cost for lessons?

Lessons on average are $25 per 30 minute lesson. Cost may be more depending on instructor and length of lesson. You will pay the instructor directly each month. In addition, the Hickory Music Factory has an annual $45 Student Registration fee and $25 each additional sibling. This will be a separate payment made to the Hickory Music Factory.

How do I cancel my annual Student Registration or update my account information?

Your Student Registration fee will be debited from your account annually on the date that you registered. You can cancel your registration at anytime. HMF does not offer refunds if you forget to cancel your registration before the renewal date. To cancel your registration, or to update your account information, go to hickorymusicfactory.com/account/login.

I never received a confirmation email after I registered for a program

Check your “spam” fold as sometimes emails will get sent there by mistake.

How long are lessons?

Lessons are 30-60 minutes long and you will meet with your instructor once a week.

How do I pay for lessons?

Lesson payment is due the the 1st of the month. Teachers accept check or cash. If paying by check, please make it out to the instructor. Teachers also accept payment through online platforms such as PayPal and Venmo.

Do you offer scholarships?

The Hickory Music Factory offers a limited number of scholarships to students each year. Applicants are assessed through written applications by the HMF board of directors. Funding for scholarships are made possible through private donations that help provide lessons and programs to youth in the community who may not have the means to do so. What about missed lessons?

Each instructor has their own policy on missed lessons. For questions, please check with your instructor.
