Scholarships

Scholarships & Work Study Programs: The Hickory Music Factory offers a limited number of scholarships and work study programs to students proving financial assistance. These are awarded on a quarterly basis and applications need to be submitted before the 1st of each quarter to be eligible for that cycle. Financial need is assessed through written applications by the HMF board of directors. Funding for scholarships and work study programs are made possible through the Mark Weaver Scholarship Fund that helps provide lessons and programs to youth in the community who may not have the means to do so. It also helps with the purchasing and maintenance of instruments and equipment.
