Swingin Under the Stars
Hickory Music Factory’s annual "Swingin’ Under the Stars" will be held in Downtown Hickory at the "Sails on the Square" on Sunday, May 25th from 6:30-9:30pm. The FREE outdoor event features the Hickory Jazz Orchestra and will perform big band arrangements from the great American songbook. Hickory Music Factory's “Swingin' Under the Stars” was the 2009 winner of the "Best Outdoor Event for NC".
In addition, the Hickory Music Factory will pay tribute to members of the community for their years of dedication and musical contributions. So put on your dancing shoes or bring a chair and relax and enjoy the show!

JOY TO THE WORLD!
Join the Hickory Music Factory for the presentation of, “Joy To The World - A Holiday Journey Around The Globe" on Saturday, December 7th at 10am, 2pm and 7pm. Featuring select students, faculty, and relevant world musicians in the Hickory community, the Hickory Music Factory will present a program of holiday music representing cultures from all over the world. Featuring guests from Zimbabwe, Guatemala, Southeast Asia and Europe, we invite Hickory to celebrate this time of renewal and return to light with the musical traditions of God Yule, Kismusi, Christmas, Hanukkah, Parang, Natal, Laˇ huˍ Hk'aw and many more!
