“WE WILL ROCK YOU!”

Hickory Music Factory’s WE WILL ROCK YOU concert. This is an incredible opportunity for students to perform a song that is appropriate to their lesson and playing level, on a huge stage with professional musicians. HMF invests in our students through opportunities like these, and gives them the tools they need to grow and build a strong musical foundation.

Teachers and students will pick a song from the master song list that they feel is appropriate for them. Teachers will monitor their progress and guide them as they learn not just the skeleton of their song, but it's construction and ultimately the finished product. Students are encouraged to embrace the performance aspect by dressing the part and engaging with the audience.

Rehearsal(s): Saturday, March 1st from 9-6pm and Sunday, March 2nd from 12-6pm. Each student will have up to 10 minutes to rehearse with the band. Rehearsals will take place at the Hickory Music Factory (1515 12th St Dr NW Hickory 28601).

Concert(s): Saturday, March 8th at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm, and 6pm, and Sunday, March 9th at 1:30pm. You will be able to sign up for one of these concerts. Concerts will take place at the PREMIER MUSIC AND EVENT SPACE (109 11th Street NW, Hickory, NC 28601).

WE WILL ROCK YOU fee is $45 for HMF students. Dead line to register is February 10th, 2025.

PLEASE NOTE: To cover the cost of this TREMENDOUS new performance space, there will be a $5/per day entrance fee for the “WE WILL ROCK YOU” concerts!
