ALTitude is a pop/rock ensemble class, helping students gain experience with working in a band. Focusing on stage presence, transitions and transposing, song writing, self confidence as a musician, and more! Instructors Sarah Goodson and Thomas Grell will assist students in building their repertoire, finding songs that work for them and how to write music fitting their style and range. Students will have a featured spot during our Open Mic Night on the Hickory Premier’s stage to showcase their hard work at the end of the semester. Students will be expected to rehearse outside of class time on their own for efficient rehearsals.

Ages: Youth musicians at an intermediate-advanced level
